Brand New Pokémon X and Y Announced for Nintendo 3DS

At 8pm local time on January 8th, 2013, Nintendo held a small Nintendo Direct presentation in Japan. The topic of the Direct was set to be specifically Pokémon. You can watch the entire thing in English above.

By around 7:18 in the video above, Nintendo switched focus to announce a brand new step in the Pokémon series. That’s where you can find the first trailer for this new game. Pokémon Xand Pokémon Y will launch worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS in October of 2013.


This is the first Pokémon entry for the Nintendo 3DS.
