Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars’ week 6 results: Sabrina Bryan voted off in shocking elimination

The latest casualty of the “Dancing With the Stars” popularity contest was, by all accounts, one of this season’s biggest surprises.

Former Disney star Sabrina Bryan, who let down her guard in a vulnerable rumba Monday night, was ousted in the sixth week of the fierce dancing competition, shocking her fellow contestants, the judges and even earnest host Tom Bergeron.

“This sucks,” the host summed up the ballroom’s sentiments, as Sabrina graciously thanked her fans.

The 28-year old performer was regularly a top scorer throughout the dancing competition.

“You know, everyone, every single person can understand what it feels like to get a second chance,” she said as she and partner Louis Amstel faced the judges one last time. “Last night was one of the most beautiful nights I ever had.

“I’m grateful for this experience. ‘Dancing With the Stars’ has been an absolute dream.”

The spunky singer and actress faced a similar fate in her first twirl on the ballroom back in season 5 when she was praised by the judges but ultimately voted off the show early in the season.

This time around, despite being voted into the competition over previous fan favorites Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey, Sabrina wasn’t able to hang on through viewer votes.

Joining Sabrina in the bottom two this week was Apolo Anton Ohno and partner Karina Smirnoff, who had a few issues with chemistry the previous week but pulled together for a spirited Viennese waltz Monday night.

“Dance without emotion is just movement for movement’s sake,” judge Carrie Ann quipped, praising the pair for their improvement.

Next week, the remaining seven dancers will face off in the first-ever set of fusion dances, performing two disparate pieces to one song.

And, as this week proved, as the season comes to a close, each of the celebrities - Apolo, Emmit Smith, Kirstie Alley, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft and Gilles Marini - will have to step up their game, because no one from here on out is in the clear.
